Proverbs 7

This week i chose Proverbs 7: 25. It says: "Do not let your heart turn to her ways or stray into her paths." I chose this one because a person needs to stay to their own way. Because to stray away and fall into other peoples ways can often lead to bad things. This week i'm going to try and pray to God to try and help me live my own life following my own path.

Proverbs 6

This weeks Bible Verse I chose Proverbs 6: 14-15. It says, "who plots evil with deceit in his heart— he always stirs up conflict. Therefore disaster will overtake him in an instant; he will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy."It is saying that those who are mean or evil are the ones who end up hurt and lost.  I like this one because it is very true. People who stir up drama and anger in others always end up hurt and unhappy becuase other people from outside the situation usually disagree with the mean person.  This week I am going to try and stay away from anything that could make others unhappy.

Proverbs 4

This week i chose Proverbs 4: 24 it says: Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. I think this is a very good verse because when people open their mouths and bad things come out it only leads to controversy and people being upset. This week I'm going to try and make sure to not say anything wrong about or to anyone. I think this will lead to more and more people trying to do this.

Proverbs 5

This week I chose Proverbs 5: 21. It says: "For your ways are in full view of the LORD, and he examines all your paths." I chose this one because it is saying that everything you do, good or bad, God is always watching. This is just like we learn as little kids that God is always watching over us at all times. It comforts us to know that. This week I'm going to try and remember this more and try to make sure and only do nice things because I know God is always watching.

Proverbs 3

I chose Proverbs 3: 3-4, it reads "Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man." I like this verse because it shows the importance of love and God in our life. Without God we wouldn't have our lives and without love there wouldn't be a point to life. God put us here to be compatible with eachother and work together as one. The end of the verse tells us that by doing this we will become closer with God which is very true and is repeated throughout the bible. This week I want to try and be more loving to others as God wants us to.

My buds

I have a lot of buds at this school. I have many bff's (best friends forever). I'm probs the coolest out of my friends but its whatevs. I accept them anyways. They are my bruhs. We like to hang out on the weekends and shoot the loop. We're pretty much the bees knees and/ or the cats pajamas. That's about all i have to say about my buds for today

Proverbs 2

I chose Proverbs 2: 7-8. It says "He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,  for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones." I liked this verse because it talks about believing in God and it will lead you in the right direction. It is telling us that God has us all taken care of. I know some people have a hard time believing this but i truelly think following God's guideness is not only the best way to do anything but also the only way. We all can learn to depend on God more because he is always there to help us. If i learn to better understand this verse it will help me stay more stress free and relaxed knowing God is always there for me.

Proverbs 1

     I chose Proverbs 1 : 8 as the verse that caught my eye. It says : "Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching." This is telling us to obey and listen to our father and mother. This is trying to tell me to do a better job of doing this. It's very easy as a teenager to disagree and want to argue with your parents. I know I can have trouble with this sometimes and I can definitely do a better job of listening to them. For my Action Step I want to try and obey my parents more without a question or comment back to them.
